Juan Carlos Freire is a graduate of the St. Thomas University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from City College City University of New York. Mr. Freire previously worked with the law firms of Luis F. Salgado & Associates and Ana Jacobs & Associates in Washington, DC, practicing immigration law.
Mr. Freire has extensive experience in the areas of family and business immigration. He has also practiced before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals, representing clients in removal proceedings with regard to asylum requests, 212 ( c ) applications, adjustment of status to permanent residence applications, cancellation of removal, waivers of inadmissibility, and other forms of relief.
Mr. Freire is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar Association, as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is also fluent in Spanish.
